The ‘Cure & the Cause’ by Fish Go Deep (feat. Tracey K) has always been one of my all-time favorite house tracks. It spawned quite a handful of remixes back when it came out. This latest take on that track is quite the delicious affair. It’s a beautifully done remix. Extremely well done arrangement. It stays in key with the vocals but has an entirely different feel than any previous iteration of the song. All in all, tis a gorgeous collection of sounds.
And I love how the words linger in the air even amongst the deep percussion:

No joke. Music is an integral part of the very vibrational fabric of existence that this reality was built upon. Jus sayin.

Friend of mine showed me this track over the weekend. Always been a fan of Rhye. Just a such a subdued & sensual quality to their music. This remix by Bondax is a wonderful arrangement. The feel still beckons you to listen, but also does enough differently so that it enhances it.
Love the vocals. Love the lyrics. Such a haunting quality to both.
Seriously. Music is my air.

Ohh my god. This is sooooo mother effin’ delicious. Tribal sounds, syncopated rhythms, shades of trap, touches of Ifan Dayfyd, nice subtle clap, and held together with a defined but subdued compressed vocal. Shit is fucking gorgeous. God damn I love music!!!

Something sensual. Something focused. Something for a Sunday. Intense & relaxed at the same time. Track has got a black & white film feel to it. Almost film noir even. Makes sense since the title is french for white flower. Sensual & gritty. Just the way I like it. Mmmmm…it’s gonna be a musically delicious week.
